How a Gathering Pass works
A Gathering Pass unlocks one gathering and is bound to it. It isn't a subscription and there's nothing to cancel.
How Plus works
Plus covers up to 6 open gatherings at a time and up to 12 locked-in gatherings per annual term. Drafts occupy an open working slot but do not use the annual allowance until you finish creating and lock in the gathering. After 12 lock-ins in the same annual term, additional gatherings can use a Gathering Pass while your account-level Plus features stay active.

My Paper Suite

Paper Suite creation and ordering launches on the web first. It uses the same account and canonical gathering data as the rest of Place & Plenty.

Gathering Pass
One gathering. One purchase.
Gathering Pass purchases are for one specific gathering. Once that gathering is completed and the Pass is locked to it, the purchase is non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law or the payment platform.
Place & Plenty Plus
Annual, with a clear way out.
Plus renews annually until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not automatically refund the current paid term.
First-time direct web purchases may qualify for the 7-day discretionary refund window described in our Terms.
One account, wherever you use it.
One Place & Plenty account across web and mobile. Gathering Pass, Plus and Multi-Day access stay attached to the same canonical account and gathering, so signing in on another device does not create a second plan or require a transfer.

Some paid features need the mobile app
A Gathering Pass or Plus can unlock features that depend on the mobile app. Host Mode needs mobile notifications, and Space Mode needs the phone camera. Your paid access still follows the same account across web and mobile.
- Host Mode — Requires the mobile app because it uses gathering-day notifications while you are moving around and hosting.
- Space Mode — Requires the mobile app because it starts with the phone camera to capture the room you are planning.
Everything else — including Multi-Day planning and My Schedule — can be used from the browser and the app.

- Free covers one open gathering at a time. A draft occupies that working slot until you finish or close it.
- Can I buy on the website, or do I have to use the app?
- Web card checkout is available for signed-in hosts. Purchases attach to the same Place & Plenty account and are recognized across web and mobile. You can create your account, plan and purchase eligible host access in the browser. Store purchases will use that same canonical account and entitlement model.
- If I buy on my phone, does it work on the web?
- Yes. Paid access belongs to your Place & Plenty account, not to one device. Sign in on the web with the same account and the entitlement is recognized there — nothing to transfer or repurchase.
- Do I have to subscribe?
- No. Place & Plenty is free to start, and a Gathering Pass is $9.99 + applicable taxes and fees for one gathering with no subscription behind it. Plus is annual for hosts who want paid access across their gatherings all year.
- What does Plus actually include?
- Plus covers up to 6 open gatherings at a time and up to 12 locked-in gatherings per annual term. - Does a draft count against my Plus limits?
- A draft occupies one of your 6 open working slots, but it does not use one of the 12 annual lock-ins. The annual allowance is used only when you finish creating the gathering and lock it in.
- What happens after 12 locked-in gatherings in an annual term?
- Your account-level Plus features keep working, and an additional gathering can use a Gathering Pass at $9.99 + applicable taxes and fees.
- What happens if I cancel Plus?
- Plus renews annually until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not automatically refund the current paid term.
- What is the refund policy?
- Gathering Pass purchases are for one specific gathering. Once that gathering is completed and the Pass is locked to it, the purchase is non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law or the payment platform. For a first-time Plus purchase made directly on placeandplenty.com, you may request a discretionary refund within 7 days of purchase if fewer than 3 gatherings have been locked in during that subscription term. Once 3 or more gatherings have been locked in, the voluntary refund window is closed. This does not limit refunds required by law, duplicate-charge corrections, confirmed billing errors, fraud corrections, or rights provided by the payment platform.
- Where will I manage or cancel what I buy?
- A Plus subscription bought through Apple or Google is managed in that store. A direct web purchase is managed through your Place & Plenty account. Access itself follows the same account across web and mobile.
- Can guests use it without paying?
- Yes, and without an account. Responding to an invitation, claiming a dish, requesting a song and adding photos are free for guests — pricing is for the host account or the gathering being unlocked.
